Founded in 1993 by art students Kazu Makino and Maki Takahashi, Blonde Redhead is now a three piece band, including Kazu Makino and twins Simone Pace and Amadeo Pace. They perform songs in English, Italian, Japanese, and French.
The Pace twins were born in Italy, grew up in Montreal, then studied Jazz in Boston. This may explain their multilingual approach to music.
Blonde Redhead has released 7 albums, and this jam is the title track off of their latest. Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley produced their first and self-titled album.
